About Darlene Summers, LPC
I have been working in private practice for over 15 years now. I also have experience working in the school setting. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from Arizona State University and my Master of Arts in Counseling from University of Phoenix. I earned my Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Behavioral Health Counseling from Ottawa University. I am licensed by the state of Arizona as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
My therapy approach is a non-judgmental eclectic blend, including (but not limited to) compassionate, cognitive behavioral and solution focused counseling. I work to establish a trusting therapuetic relationship with each of my client's while we explore your unique problems, concerns or needs. Most people find me to be easy to work with and helpful at times of stress.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, being out in nature and taking on remodel projects.
